LAS VEGAS,
NV -- Extreme Poker Ltd.'s wholly owned subsidiary, The
Great Canadian Poker Tournament Ltd. has entered into an
agreement with TSN, Canada's Sports Leader, to air 13
episodes of The Great Canadian
Texas
Holdem
Poker
Tournament.
Network Production & Communication Inc. will be
producing the episodes in conjunction with TSN. The
agreement calls for the 13 hour-long shows to be
produced in September and October of 2004.
Network Productions has worked closely with TSN on
previous projects and successfully produced many prime
time programmes aired on TSN.
The
Great Canadian Texas Holdem Poker Tournament will be
airing on a time-buy basis, and as explained by TSN,
"Each episode would receive a minimum of three plays
with every effort for eastern prime, western prime and a
weekday eastern afternoon airing. The series would begin
to air early in 2005."
