Nice shades, Moneymaker. |
In response to the silly insistence that sunglasses be banned from play: Let's be realistic here for a moment. If you are going to support banning sunglasses because it makes it too hard for you to "read" someone, you should either not sit down in a game where someone is wearing them or stop playing poker. There are hundreds of other "tells" that can help you get a read on a person.
If we start with sunglasses, where do we stop? Moneymaker, no wraparounds. Sammy, no cigarette. Jesus, no ten-gallon hat. Chan, no lucky rotten orange!!! If what someone is (or isn't) wearing gets you so preoccupied during a game that it affects your play, don't bother playing live. Visit one of the many poker rest areas on the Information Super Highway to get your fix. At least you don't have to look at anyone there ... but what if one of the computer characters at the table across from you is wearing sunglasses!!! AAAAAAHHHHH!!!
